  After Yahleohym banished the Adanne (the High Men they were called in later years) from the Sacred Gardens of Jessone, the human race was expelled from all divine privileges, forever to wander as nomads upon the earth.  As the generations passed there rose a mighty race east of Jessone in the land called Not.  These men built great cities and stored up  precious possessions for themselves.  They made themselves into a great nation by way of trade and force and built a high tower in their chief city of Notdarion and called it Eddik Not for it was, in their minds, earth's finger that touched the sky.  They placed a king upon a throne and called him Sauurissyn, King of the Rissyngas (meaning 'knowledgeable ones' or 'men of great strength of mind').  And they spoke out saying, "Look at our city!  Look at our tower!  And look, you leaderless men of earth, at our king!  We are greater than the Adanne and we are greater than Yahleohym himself!"

     Yahleohym hearing this horrible boast of blasphemy and crudeness cried out in anguish at the creatures he had created, "I am ashamed that I have created you, oh wicked sons of the Adanne!  Alas, no one is worthy here of life but the sons of Lamuik who live righteously in the lands of Arrartia!  Cursed are you who boast of your worldly triumphs, for the Lord Yahleohym does not take pride in your worldly triumphs but in those of the spirit!"  So Yahleohym called upon the sons of Lamuik (Being Noai, and Namba) saying, "Sons of Lamuik!  I, Yahleohym, master of all, tell you to do this.  Noai! build a great boat from the wood of the mole oak and bring  with you, your wife and your sons and their wives.  And when I command you to sail into the west, you will do as I command.

     "And you, Namba, who is called wise, construct a vassal out the finest yew.  And be prepared to sail where I show you in the east.  Bring with you, your wife, and your children."  And so the sons of Lamuik did as Yahleohym commanded them to do.  Before Yahleohym's wrath was poured out the Great Fell Winter came and froze the lands to the very bones of the earth.  After forty years of frost and snow the ice melted and a great water rose up to swallow the greater world. Namba set sail east into the Sea of Worms, as Noai sailed west across the Sea-in-the-West.  And Yahleohym was before Namba: guiding him in the form of a swan as he guided Noai as a dove.  The months passed and Namba came to what men called the Eastern Edge Of The World.  His ship was set on the back of the Swan, that was Yahleohym, and on It he flew across the expanding void.  The sun pierced through the void and consumed the greater world and the earth was divided into two halves.  Onward went Namba across the void and the Swan let him down in a circle of beech trees within a ring of hills.  "This place I will call Dosterras." said Namba, "For Great Yahleohym took me here as the earth cracked into two parts."  And Yahleohym spoke to Namba saying, "Namba, this land is for you and your decedents.  From now on you will be called Naumiba, for all of this world will be of your line.

    B. The Mannish Nation and the Coming of the Nephiti

And so, as Naumiba's ship was let down by the Divine Swan the first age of Bergary began.  Naumiba and his family lived within the circle of hills for five years and rarely ventured out, but in the year 9 of the first age one of the sons of Naumiba (who's name was Allen) led his family to go and dwell west of Dosterras along the River Ghursh (Allen is said to have named it such for its waters flowed a dirty red).  Along those banks they made the town of Hurumbain.

    Time passed and the descendants of Naumiba increased rapidly.  In the year 121 I, the people of Bergary wanted there to be peace and unity between them so at Dosterras, Naumiba was crowned, with a wooden crown, Father-King-Of-All-Men and made for himself a great citadel in Dosterras.  The glory and wonder of the human race was shone in these years as all people lived in communion for centuries.  Disease and famine dared not to touch them for they were favored greatly in the eyes of Yahleohym.  Naumiba made sacrifices of wheat and lamb daily to Yahleohym and all prospered under his divine reign.  It was not permanent though.  In the year 561 I there came to the golden court of Naumiba in Dosterras the Nephiti.  They were twice as tall as the tallest man (being ten feet tall or so),  slender with long narrow arms and legs.  They had white pearly skin and large, black unblinking eyes.  Their garments were made from the finest silk and shimmered like silver but shone like white sunlight.  When they walked their head and torso only seemed to float over the earth and their small feet were hoofed like those of a newborn lamb.

    Over five hundred host came into Dosterras.  Each had a shining silver staff from which long ribbon banners flowed in the slightest most subtle breeze.  They came into the citadel and stood before Naumiba and their leader spoke in the sweetest gentlest voice that sounded like the cooing of doves,   "Ie namba diali adannei i naubibaua! Ioc diali kortblummum eli oi nephiti!" he said in the old tongue: as Naumiba was the hero of mankind so he was called Koartplumymn [Gardenflower] god of the Nephiti.  Naumiba fell to his face and worshipped Koartplumymn saying "Ioc diali Koartplumymni ritar" (so I am Koartplumymn's servant and knight) and gave to the Lord of the Nephiti his own throne.  The Nephiti lived in the halls of the citadel for nearly nine decades and they made slaves of men, but never did men question their authority for they were so blinded by their beauty and splendor that they worshipped them as gods.

  C. The Great Revelation and the Mannish Civil War

   And so the men of Bergary served and worshipped the Nephiti with out question of their purposes.  It was in the ninety first year, Yahleohym who saw what men did and was disgusted at the sight sent Raphael the Archseraph down to Dosterras in the disguise of a falcon to Naumiba.  There Raphael flew through an open window and took the form of the Archseraph.  "naumiba oifen! oahur! curmal diali bafraffyn adannei fune yn misraim!"  said Rahael, "Heaven will free you!"  This greatly disturbed Naumiba who answered why do you called the Nephiti the enemy? "yy sie nephitia asd misramos?" Raphael raised his hand and there in his long slender fingers was a shining golden apple.  The fruit looked hard and unpleasant but also it seemed to hold power beyond what a human mind could comprehend.  "This, Naumiba child, is the eplgillivoskan the 'Golden Apple of Discernment' if you eat of this divine gift you will reveal the hearts of those who serve Keorlan [Black-king of Diordal].  Eat all of it, my son, and you will see the true likeness of your enemies. Ararahl!" and he again took the form of a falcon and flew away out the window away over the earth.  So Naumiba took and ate all of it.  And the Nephiti, exposed as the Nephilim (servants of Keorlan), fled Dosterras and took their slaves into the West.  And Naumiba and his five sons who are named Allen, Orlyn, Koralda, Sismun, and Tair rallied all of the men whom the Nephilim had left in Dosterras.  And the five sons of Naumiba made war against the Nephilim.  The Nephilim who were ashamed of their true likeness could not with stand the force of the Dosterran Army, and so it was that after twenty five years of warfare the Nephilim fled into the North to their dark fortress of Diordal.  The slaves of the Nephilim remained in the West and were ruled over by Troatt (Great Grandson of Orlyn).  These slaves, who were still loyal to Koartplumymn, continued to fight against the sons of Naumiba.  And it came to pass that the armies of Dosterras drove Those-That-Were-Still-Loyal back to the coast of the Western Sea.  Troatt retreated his people west, across the sea, to an island he named Troatia.  The Troatians and the Dosterrans fought for many years and after the eighty third year since the Great Revelation Naumiba gave Giljorrean, son of Orrean (Who was the son of Allen, Naumiba's first son) power over the Dosterran army.  Giljorrean's first movement was to construct the first navy in Bergarian history.  Three years later the Dosterran fleet sailed to Troatia and attacked the chief city of Truumbal from offshore.  Troatt sailed with the counter attack on board his flag ship Ahriyon.  It was there on the deck of the Ahriyon that after he boarded, Giljorrean captured Troatt, slave of Koartplumymn and of Keorlan, and took him back to Dosterras.  And, while he was groveling before the feet of Naumiba, Troatt surrendered to Naumiba his people and denounced his ties with the Nephilim.  Naumiba sent Troatt back to Troatia to prepare his tribute but, no tribute came.

   D.  The Golden Age of Troatia and the Decline of Dosterras

   In fact, no tribute ever came.  But Naumiba forbade Giljorrean to invade Troatia.  "The fighting is over, my son, the Nephilim are the true foe." he said, "No war, neither hot nor cold can solve this dispute.  The division of the Bergarians has begun, may the Lord have mercy on the nation whose god is not Yahleohym."

   Troatt died twenty years later and his second son, Lynk Trost (Troatt's first being Pagcrus Trost who died in the Battle of Truumbal) became leader of Troatia.  Lynk Trost officially broke Troatia away from the Mannish kingdom and Lynk Trost became the first king of the Troatians.  Under the leadership of King Lynk Trost, Troatia grew prosperous and founded colonies in Gulgahlla, Darlynnion, and Zizurot.  Lynk Trost gave certain men power over each colony.  These leaders of the colonies became known as Governors and in time they were called the Colonels or the Markises.

Because the war was stopped short by Naumiba, Giljorrean took the veterans of the Mannish Civil War and founded the sacred order of the Mehtkorl.  Giljorrean became the first High Prince and he swore unconditional loyalty to Naumiba and Dosterras.  He withdrew the Mehtkorl into the wilderness to ward off any Troatian skirmishers sent to cause trouble in Dosterras.  But no skirmishers were sent,  Lynk Trost died soon after the order was founded, and his son Galgrus Lyngria became the second king.  Galgrus Lyngria sent colonists to Southern Allyanna where the colony of Nufatroatia (New Troatia) was founded.  Troatian soldiers in Nufatroatia caused many problems for the Mehtkorl and tried to invade Dosterras from the south twice, but Naumiba refused to let Giljorrean declare war for Naumiba was their father as well, and he loved them as a father loves his children.  Dosterras was short on men and the kingdom dwindled away so that only the citadel and its population remained.

  Under King Galgrus Lyngria, Troatia reached its height.  Wine was brought from Darlynnion, ice and fur from Zizurot and jewels, salt and gold from Nufatroatia.  Galgrus Lyngria's court was fashioned from Nufatroatian marble and elephants, unguls, and ground-sloths roamed the palace grounds.  Galgrus sat in a throne of gingko-wood and clad himself in fine silk and rhinoceros wool he drank mango wine from golden goblets and built temples and cathedrals of alabaster to false gods.  He rode through his island kingdom every day on a carriage built in the image of the Ahriyon, his grandfather's flagship.  The carriage was pulled by great wooly mastodons.  Galgrus built a temple around the palace dedicated to the sea god, whom Galgrus claimed was Koartplumymn (Called Korpum the god-king in Troatia).  Because Korpum the god-king had "returned to his home", Galgrus said that Troatt had taken his place and because Galgrus Lyngria was Troatt's heir, Galgrus was the sea god incarnate (this was an obvious political advantage since Troatia had become a "sea based empire" and loyalty to the sea god-king would provide calm seas) Naumiba was ashamed of the Galgrus's blasphemy but would not declare martial law.  Galgrus Lyngria ruled for 259 years until he retired and removed to Zizurot.  Galgrus's brother's son Zerkis Domphaun Siraris became king of the Troatians

   E. Troatia Under Zerkis  and the Rise of the Yaras

  Zerkis Domphaun Sirarus continued to rule Troatia as Galgrus Lyngria had before him.  When Galgrus died, Zerkis named himself the sea-god and he built ziggurats across Troatia and her colonies.  The greatest of these ziggurats was the Temple of Sirararra that covered the area where Galgrus's palace had stood.  Zerkis expanded the colonies into Haraudlien (Which is today called Ghamia), and a great quarrying colony was started in Nufatroatia and it was called Decoree.  Because Zerkis had feared that Giljorrean and the Mehtkorl would attack Decoree, he created a new office of "chancellor" to oversee all of the Markises (Colonels) of each colony.  The first chancellor was Duvis [no surname is found in the records] and he was the chancellor for eight years until Zerkis Domphaun Siraris died in the year 1262 I.  Zerkis's son, Darius Colocap Terris became the king but he was only six years old at the time of his coronation, so Lynk Hirdrust Regus became the regent in Darius's stead.

Lynk Hirdrust Regus appointed a new chancellor and built a new temple over Zerkis's great ziggurat and sat on Darius's throne.  When Darius grew old enough to rule for himself he asked Lynk, "Lynk, my lord, many long years have thou been ruling in mine premature throne.  Now I ask thee, my liege, to step down and give thy throne to his just owner."  Lynk hushed Darius and forbade him to take his throne.  "Thou art but a boy and a boy may not be king o'er Troatia.  There, there, Darius Atti oifynnu; la niouri wakcy rink a chancellor I shall maketh thee.  And ye shall rule o'er all of Troatia's colonies and ye will learneth the ways of trade and seafaring." And so, after the chancellor had died, Darius Colocap Terris became the chancellor of Troatia's colonies.

   Darius Colcapp Terris remained chancellor for 57 years but Lynk Hirdrust Regus refused to allow him his full power as king.  In the year 1349 I Darius, who was 63 years old and in the prime of his life rose up an army against Lynk and invaded Troatia.  Lynk Hirdrust Regus stripped Darius of his title as chancellor and named himself the chancellor of Troatia's colonies.  As regent Lynk controlled the ready Troatian army and for years on end, civil war engulfed every part of Troatia but neither did gain the upper hand.  In the year 1398 I Lynk's armies drove out all of Darius's forces from Nufatroatia and Lynk, believing he had defeated Darius proclaimed himself the Yara (joint king/regent and chancellor [leader in Troatian]) and built his own addition on the site of Zerkis's ziggurat of Sirararra.  But Darius had not been destroyed as he had escaped into Haraudlien where he gathered an army among the colonists and in the year 1405 I he invaded Gulgahlla and Troatia itself.  Darius's forces in Gulgahlla were unsuccessful, however his main force, whom he, himself, lead in to Troatia, was victorious and captured Truumbal on 10 August 1406 I and destroyed Lynk's addition to his father's ziggurat.  Yara Lynk Hirdrust Regus escaped west into Darlynnion where he fell ill to malaria and died on 3 February 1410.  Lynk's son was crowned Yara Lynk Temes Lorol III in Darlynnion the next week.

 F.  Divided Troatia and the Fall of the Troatian Kings

   Lynk III invaded Troatia only two years after his coronation.  Darius, having had prior knowledge of the invasion met Lynk III twenty miles off shore and there a battle ensued.  Lynk III's forces had the upper hand and nearly destroyed Darius's fleet had it not been for a wind that came up from the sea and engulfed and destroyed Lynk III's ships.  Many said that Darius had summoned it as he was, by Troatian tradition the sea god incarnate; others said it was the revenging spirit of Zerkis Domphaun Siraris or Galgrus Lyngria; but most said it was sent from the sea itself the thought Lynk III's ships vile and undeserving of sea passage.  Whatever the case, Lynk III was defeated and he retreated to Darlynnion where he stayed until his death for fear of the sea's returning wrath.  Death came upon Lynk III prematurly in 1461 I and his son became Yara Zerkis Hirdrust Regus II soon after.  Zerkis II attacked and captured Truumbal in 1489 I and rebuilt Lynk Hirdrust Regus's ziggurat and fationed new ships to root out Darius's remaining forces.  However, the great battle Zerkis II had hoped for never happened during his life as he died of a brain tumor in 1504 I.  Zerkis II's son Troatt II finished what his father started by invading Haraudlien in 1534 I and along with his host of nearly 300,000, Troatt II defeated Darius's army of 3,000.  Darius, himself, was caught in the fray and died of his wounds the next week.  Darius only surviving son, Zerkis Colocapp Turian II continued the war with the Yaras after he was crowned king and fled to Gulgahlla.  In Gulgahlla King Zerkis was not welcomed and increasng threats were made on his life.  He was force to flee again to Zizurot in the 30th year of his reign. 

   Yara Troatt II worked hard to rebiuld Troatia into its golden glory.  He named himself the God of Life incarnate to rival the loyalty and following of King Zerkis II and often he refused to battle with Zerkis II as he only considered him a rebellion to the Yaras' cause.  Although Zerkis II was the "king of Troatia" he only ruled Zizurot during most of his life.  When Troatt II died in 1629 I, Lynk IV assumed the Yara throne and immediately invaded Zizurot.  The battles consumed the icy landscape for decades, neither side could gain a foothold.  King Zerkis II died during these years and his son Darius II took his place.  Darius proved himself as being a weaker king than his father and eventually his armies became exhausted and the Yara's forces came through and captured Darius and took him back to Truumbal where he was kept in the most impregnable keep, deep within the city.  Yara Lynk assumed the title of king in Darius II's place and in 1710 I combined the titles of yara and king and became Xram Lynk Trotat Zordec Regus IV.

G. The Rise and Fall of Xramist Troatia

   Xram Lynk Trotat Zordec Regus IV built many great pyramids and ziggurats in Truumbal by the forced labour of war captives.  And many did hate the Xram for he punished and executed those who had supported the King and although he had many monuments built he was not loved by his people.  His son Xram Lynk Ardrus Regus Supremian V stopped the oppression after his coronation.  He was loved by his people and was a good leader.  He expanded the colonies in Nufatroatia and helped to rebuild the war-torn towns of Zizurot.  Troatia's glory days were nearly restored during Lynk V's reign.  All the time Darius II was locked in his tower in Truumbal never allowed out except to enjoy the palace gardens.  Darius II had a son, named Galgor, with one of his wives while he was captive.  As a babe Galgor was secretly taken from Truumbal to Nufatroatia where he spent his youth.  The Xram died in 1832 I and his son became the Xram Nubis Mute Katta Hevti Sart in Truumbal the next midsummer's eve.  The new Xram proved to be haughty and he stored riches for his own pleasure.  He threw parties in the sacred courts of the old Kings and drank excessively from rare exotic wines and grapes.  He became known as Nubis the Fat and Nubis the Drunkard.  He ruled only twenty one years before he was assassinated by his chief commander of the army.  After his assassination a revolt went up throughout the colonies and Troatia.  Anarchistic civil war over took most of the Xramdom.

H. The Renewal of the Troatian Kingship and the Troatio-Dosterran War.

  During the chaotic years following the revolt, Darius II escaped his impregnable keep and traveled to Nufatroatia where he was united with his son ,Galgor.  In Nufatroatia Darius and Galgor gained a following and raised an army amongst the farming and mining folk.  The two monarch's and their army traveled across the seas throughout the Troatian colonies restoring towns and quelling uprisings.  Eventually they came to Troatia and to Truumbal where the tore down the keep that had held Darius prisoner for so long, and there they fortified the city.  The stripped the city of the works of the Xrams and Yaras and pacified the revolting country side.  It took years to calm the colonies and Troatia.  Darius died of old age before the civil wars had been stopped.  After the civil uprisings had been completely quelled, Galgor was crowned king in Truumbal on 10 December 1916 I .  Galgor rebuilt Zerkis I's ziggurat and expanded the colonies into the areas west of the Great Desert.

   Galgor spent many years restoring the glory of his ancestors and, by and by, Galgor seeked to expand his empire into Allyanna.  Scouts were sent into Allyanna and came back reporting that no man dwelled their save those in the Dosterras Citadel.  Amazed that Dosterras continued to persist Galgor sent emissaries to the Citadel wishing for them to join his renewed glorious kingdom.  Naumiba refused and sent the emissaries away.  Immediately after Galgor hear their report he declared martial law on Dosterras and sent his finest army to the Citadel and the Mehtkorl met them there.  Giljorrean's forces repelled the Troatians after a small skirmish and returned to the Desert with the Citadel Guard.  The following year Giljorrean's army attacked Decoree and burnt down the famous lighthouse.  Aedyn the Troatian commander countered the Dosterran force east of the colony and sent the Mehtkorl and Citadel Guards retreating to the Desert.  In the Desert Giljorrean sent the Mehtkorl to attack Galgor's colony in the west and after a feud known as the Temple Skirmish, Giljorrean was slain in the feud.  Allen, Naumiba's son, led the Mehtkorl and Citadel Guard back to to Dosterras, where Giljorrean's grandson ,Gillrian, was crowned the second high prince of the Mehtkorl.

     Enraged with Giljorrean, Galgor sent the full weight of his army and navy upon Dosterras.  They sailed past Nufatroatia and up the River Ghursh.  Galgor led the army as they landed near Dosterras.  In two waves the armies came upon Dosterras.  The first was destroyed by the Mehtkorl and Citadel Guard but the second surrounded the city and laid siege to the Citadel.  Before an arrow was released or a sword was swung, a dark cloud appeared in the North.  It was the grand armies of the Nephilim and they decended upon the valley like a lion on his prey.  In the countless centuries since the Nephilim had been cast out of Dosterras their evil Black-king Keorlan Hadeus had been breeding minions to seek revenge on the men of Bergary.  When the Nephilim multitudes were no more than a mile off the sky opened up and the heavenly host of the celestial Jinn poured out and they called upon the men of Troatia and Dosterras in their seraphic voices to come and fight.  Together they destroyed the Nephilim army of 3,000,000 and sent the  Black-king his demonic slaves into exile.  None amongst the Troatians were killed and only one of the Mehtkorl were killed, Tair the son of Naumiba who was shot in the back accidentally. The Jinn stayed at Dosterras for another year and they walked and talked with each person who was there and told tales to the people of the ancient days before the Great Flood.  During this time, Galgor surrendered his crown and kingdom to Aniba (as Naumiba was called after the battle) and sent him a great tribute.  The Jinn returned to Udridor, as the heavenly realm is called, when the summer of the next year ended.

I. All the of Remaining Events Prior to the Second Age

     Galgor and Aniba went to great lengths trying to restore the old Mannish Empire.  Eventually Aniba ruled a kingdom that stretched from the River Asole to Darlynnion.  But not all of Troatia and its domains did celebrate this unification as Galgor did.  Many threats were made on Galgor's and Aniba's lives when they were in Troatia.  Troatia rebelled from the Empire in 2267 I and immediately the Island experienced violent earthquakes that sank the whole of Troatia into the sea drowning its inhabitants, many escaped into Nufatroatia (including Galgor), Zizurot and Darlynnion.  Aniba went in a long precession with his surviving sons across Allyanna, singing lamentations and mourning.  They came to Galgor's home in Nufatroatia on 12 November 2278 I.  Thus ended the First Age of Bergary 2,278 years long from the Voyage of Namba to the Mourning of Troatia.
